NIPetE ELECTS NEW NATIONAL CHAIRMAN ENGR. YETUNDE ALADEITAN, PHD FNSE The Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE) has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of Engr. Dr. Yetunde Aladeitan, FNSE, as its new National Chairman. Her emergence marks a significant milestone, bringing a rare combination of high-level academia, deep industry experience, and proven administrative capability to the forefront of the institution. Dr. Aladeitan is not a stranger to breaking new ground. She is a distinguished Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Abuja and served as the Director of its Energy Research Center . Her academic credentials are stellar; she earned her Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, and her research on optimizing "thin oil rim reservoirs" addresses critical production challenges in the Niger Delta . Beyond the lecture halls, the new Chairman is a "Scholar-Practitioner." As the Managing Consultant of Klensfield Environmental Services and a consultant for NovaSpire Energy, she applies theoretical solutions to real-world environmental and energy project challenges . Her leadership pedigree includes serving as Chairman of the NSE Engineering Manpower and Occupation Committee and holding key national positions in the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) .
